Singing Charcoals

(10.10.2020)

‘Singing Charcoals’ (10.10.2020) is an improvisational and interactive performance in which an audio-visual piece is created through the process of mark making and signal processing. The sounds in this piece originate from the movement of a charcoal on paper and are further modulated through the drums and a system of vocoding. Through this process the artists explore the interaction and symbiosis of audio and visual performance techniques and compositional experimentation.
